Financial Assistance for Students

For your convenience, we have provided a few resources for those students in need of financial assistance and funding opportunities. We encourage all of our students to visit the Cost and Funding webpage on the Graduate School website. Students will find additional information regarding both internal and external funding sources on the page. Interested students can also visit the Financial Aid and Funding Opportunities webpage of the Graduate School website.

Tuition Waiver

The Master of Arts in Global Health and Society (GHS) program offers tuition waivers to eligible students. Once students have submitted their online application, they should contact the GHS Admissions Officer regarding the eligibility process for the tuition waiver. Students can email the GHS Admissions Officer at ghsadmissions@miami.edu.

For Veterans and Their Families

Yellow Ribbon Program - The University of Miami is an active participant in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program. This provision of the post 9/11 GI Bill helps cover the expenses of earning a master's degree. Opportunities for study are available for active duty personnel as well. Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces are encouraged to visit the official website for the program.

Other Sources of Financial Assistance

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form that can be prepared annually by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.
