The University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences proudly hosts a global health studies program which fits the career interests of many students. Whether you are currently a prospective undergraduate student or a prospective graduate student, our programs can offer you an enriching academic experience that prepares you for a fufilling career.

 

Undergraduate 

Interested students can complete an independent major in Global Health and pursue a minor inorder to complete a cognate requirement. An independent major in Global Health and a Social Sciences and Medicine minor helps complete the "People and Society" area of knowledge cognate. An independent major in Global Health and a Medical Humanities minor helps complete the "Arts and Humanities" area of knowledge cognate. 

 

Graduate

Interested students can complete a Master of Arts in Global Health and Society with a concentration in one of three tracks. Tracks include: the General Global Health track, the Policy, Governance, and Advocacy track, and the Community-Based Participatory Research Monitoring and Evaluation Track. Students will acquire the skills necessary to pursue careers in various fields like public health policy, reasearch, administration and more.
